WinterKids Downhill Derby

Presented by

Epic skiing. Epic fun. Epic party!

What do you get when you combine 24 hours of skiing, nonstop entertainment, and loads of good kharma for WinterKids? The Downhill Derby, of course!

On March 9-10, 2013, we celebrated our very first Downhill Derby at Mt Abram, where over 150 Derby challengers skied and rode around the clock. Their mission? To help WinterKids get more children outside & active in the winter-- all while having a blast on the slopes!

It was an incredible 24 hours, and we're pleased to announce that the Downhill Derby raised a remarkable $42,000 for WinterKids' programs! These proceeds will help us reach nearly 20,000 kids across Maine in the coming year!

We have many to thank for making the Derby a great success, including: our Presenting Sponsor, Kittery Trading Post; our Supporting Sponsor, Portland Pie Company; and our many prize donors, volunteers, individual racers, and corporate teams. Thank you all for making the first year of the Downhill Derby unforgettable!

Kudo's to this year's winners!
